Periodically fundraising events are held to support Open Gate Ministries. Events currently planned for 2012 include:

FEBRUARY: A popular event each February is the Soup and Pie luncheon. Put Wednesday Feb. 1, 2012 (11 AM - 1:30 PM) on your calendar now and plan to join us for lunch at the Dinuba First United Methodist Church. All-you-can-eat soup for $4.50 and a slice of pie for $1.50. Such a Bargain!

Each year local churches collect funds on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 5, 2012) for the Souper Bowl of Caring to benefit the programs of Open Gate Ministries.

MARCH: We’ll be having our Almost Spring Yard Sale on the lawn at our shelter on March 9-10. This will feature some of the physically larger donations we receive for our Thrift Shop operation.

MAY: We’ll be holding our Salad Bar Luncheon and Boutique on Wednesday, May 9. 2012.

SEPTEMBER: Our next Annual Dinner will be September 13, 2012. Watch for information. This includes a speaker and volunteer recognition.

OCTOBER: We’ll hold another Yard Sale at the Shelter on October 5-6. Furniture, appliances, and a variety of other things will be available.  

NOVEMBER: Thursday Nov. 1, we’ll hold our annual board dinner/meeting to review the work of the previous year and rededicate ourselves to supporting the mission of Open Gate Ministries.

NOVEMBER/DECEMBER we’ll have a new event: a sale of

decorated Christmas trees.
